neeta9
My husband has approved-140 with company A (full time job) since 3 yrs but recently found out that his GC was filed under EB3. So he seriously started looking for jobs and got an offer from company B (full time) and its a very remote place and bad weather with an almost negligible salary benefit. His current job is good and secure and he has been in this company for 6 yrs, not sure why they filed under EB3. He has a B.Tech (India) and MBA (US). New offer is ready to file under EB2 and port his priority date (June 2010) as well. He wants to move only so it can file under EB2 but as a family with a kid it won't really work out for us. Is this a good move or can he wait till we find the right offer in the right place? I feel there is no hurry to move just for EB2 and move to a good place with good offer when we get it. I'm on h1b but yet to file for my GC in May 2014. Please advice. Link to comment
t75
His GC job likely did not qualify for EB2. Tell him "If wife isn't happy, then no one is happy." You are a family and the move should be agreed to by all. Link to comment
