For this first I need visa fro Canada. Can anybody please let me know the procedure and list of documents I need to get visa for Canada. I looked it up online but I didn't find any reliable resource. Pay the fees http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/fees/result.asp? lob=trv&canada=outside&cat=Temporary+Residence Start an online application by following these steps: • Answer a few questions to find out if you are eligible to apply. • If you’re eligible to apply, register and/or log in to MyCIC through: o GCKey or, o Sign In Partner (SecureKey Concierge) You need a MyCIC account only if you are submitting an online application. If you have submitted your application on paper and you wish to check your status, you do not need a MyCIC account 2. After the paying and creating the Login. Few documents are required for online submission 1. One scanned photo 2. Passport both front back and all pages that are used 3. Employer letter 4. Application for Temporary Resident Visa [iMM 5257] (PDF, 338 KB) 5. Family Information [iMM 5645] (PDF, 59 KB) 6. I797 (not sure) 3. Upload the documents above and submit 4. Wait for few weeks for email acknowledgment from consulate along with the unique id in pdf document 5. Send the passport along with the unique id pdf document to the NY\CALIF consulate and then wait for a 3-4 weeks to receive the passport with the visa stamped Link to comment

I followed the document check list from below link http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/visa.asp I submiited the following documents 1) Document check list on top[iMM 5484]. Please check all the documents in Document Check list. 2) Application for Temporary Resident Visa [iMM 5257] - Validated and signed 3) Family information [iMM 5645] - Signed at all necessary sections 4) Fee reciept 5) Two photos according to photo standards and write Last name and date of birth on back side http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/photospecs-e.pdf 6) Copy of H1B approval 7) Copy of 3 bank statements 8) Employment verification letter 9) Original Passport 10) Copy of three latest paystubs 11) USPS priorty mail with address label pasted, Write your address in To section and leave From section blank. Please paste the necessary stamp ( I guess USD 19.95). Please make a not of tracking number since you need to use this number to track your mail. Link to comment

Hello , How long did it take to get your passport from LA consulate? My package was reached to Consulate on Sept 24th and I am still waiting for my passport. Link to comment

What I see from the people is, Online TRV is approved btw 10-25 days and passport stamping is done between 5 to 15 days max And I think the we dont get our pic in the canadian visa , please corect me if am wrong.
