B2 to F1/H1 change of status

Hi,

 

I Need some help on this topic. Can please anyone answer these question?

 

I am on H1b visa. I sponsored my brother for B2(Visitor) Visa & He got his stamping done for for 10 Years (Multiple).  

 

Can my brother change the status from B2 to F1 or H1 during his stay in USA?

 

If he can then Is there any negative effect on my H1b extention or Green card appliction?

He could change though it is not advisable.

It will have no effect on your H1B extension or GC.

If he is planning to apply for F1 or H1, why don't he do it now itself?? why B2 to F1 or H1??

 

I read a post in this forum were student's mother has been deported at POE because student entered into US on B2 and later applied for F1.

Since change to F1 would mean informing the Officer at the POE of student intent and getting a potential student annotation stamped on the passport and also since he would presumably find a sponsor for H1 starting October, 2015 both scenarios are not possible.
