H1 Transfer H4 transfer required

Hi All,

 

I am transferring my h1b to another company, my wife h4 is valid till 06/2014 same as my current H1, my attorney it is fine if we do not apply for h4 for one year and can use the same h4 and later apply for her h4 when it nears expiry date, is this correct ?
