gp_happy@rediffmail.com
Hi, I've 2 H1B petitions approved, both approved in April/May'13. One was filed by my current employer & the other was through a company based out of US. I did this because I thought it'd give me a better chance since a lottery was already anticipated in advance. Now I'm really confised as to what to do? My current employer is asking me to go for stamping ASAP but at the same time they may or may not send me to US in next 6 months. The US employer is also asking me to go for stamping ASAP & he'll be taking me to US for sure. I can't deny the request from my current employer for stamping. If I go for a stamping from my current employer & they don;t send me to US by Dec.'13, can I go for a stamping again from my US employer? Is this a valid case/scenario? What should be my approach. Please advise. Link to comment
pontevecchio
You can get stamped for the other company later on if the Consulate agrees. They may tell you to use the existing visa. People who are already working in the USA can use a valid H1 visa to come back even after change of employers. Link to comment
