International Travel - H1B with EAD+AP (EB2; PD:Mar, 2008)

Hi,
I have a query about upcoming international vacation travel to home country (India) in November, 2013.
 
Status: Married
Visa Status: H1B (Spouse - H4) - NOT STAMPED.
Priority Date: March, 2008 (Received EAD & Advance Parole) (EB2)
    (Dependent has not yet used EAD)
Possible Travel Date: Nov, 2013
 
Queries:
1. I have heard one needs to be in USA if GC is in printing state.
                - Based on current possibility of dates going current for EB2-India, would international travel be fine?

2. If travel is fine:
                - would there be a need for H1B visa-stamping OR,
                - Advance Parole could be utilized by both employee & spouse?

3. Please suggest our currently valid status if we are travelling outside US - H1B (/H4) work-visa OR, permanent-resident.

Please assist.

1. You heard wrong. You can travel with a valid AP.

 

2. Either is fine. AP is the better idea.

 

3. Outside USA you have no US status.
