Guest Posted July 10, 2013 Report Share Posted July 10, 2013 Hi Guys, Im on H1b from last 1 year and my current h1 expires by oct 2013. I need to apply for my extension soon. If i apply it in sep in regular processing, it takes 3 months for approval. Can i still work in that cap gap period with h1b receipt? Thanks, Kiran Link to comment
pontevecchio Posted July 10, 2013 Report Share Posted July 10, 2013 What is cap gap in H1 status? Why is it so hard to say the extension will be filed by your H1 sponsor and not you? A non frivolous application for H1 status extension lets you stay. Link to comment
