Help needed regarding COS

Hi,

 

I've applied H-1 this year and couldn't get through the lottery. However, I've got an admission from a public university as I've applied to it in prior.

 

Also, my F-1 expired a month ago and my OPT extension ends in November.

 

My question is can I still be able to go the University for Fall? Do I need to get my F-1 stamped again in home country?

 

Please throw some light regarding this as I'm not sure at this moment.

 

Meanwhile, I am still working on OPT extension. When should that be stopped?

Your OPT extension lets you work till fall. You should give your DSO/ISA a call and run this by them as to the procedural formalities.

I have one more question about Federal Student Aid. Is it applicable only to the citizens?

You usually have to be a US citizen or Permanent Resident to get federal student aid.

Talk tom your DSO. They will point you in the right direction. FSA seems to be out for you.
