How long it will take to get EAD after I-140 Approved

Hello,

 

I am going to file my I-140 in EB2 category in Aug 2013 under premium processing. (How long it will take to get I-140 approved in premium process)
Concurrently, I will file the I-485 and I-765 (appl for EAD).
I have heard that the I-485 is not processed until the
I-140 is approved. If that is the case, will USCIS process my
EAD papers only after the I-140 has been approved?

 

& After how long i have to wait to get EAD after I-140 approved?

You heard wrong.

Don't listen to rumors. The I-485 can't be approved without an approved I-140, but it can of course be processed before the I-140 is approved..

PP takes 15 days for any result.

 

To apply EAD, I-485 has to be current.

 

If you are applying I-140 and I-485 together..you should get the EAD soon.

I-140 premium is 2 weeks..

The OP said he files the I-485 concurrently. That implies that his PD is current, so he isn't from the backlogged countries.
