nivasrd
Hi all, My PD current with July Bulletin and I am trying to fill my G325-A form. Just now, I realized that I might be in a precarious position and I guess your replies will help lot of people who are working as consultants like me..Here is my situation and I know I overlooked lot of things before as I was not really aware of all the rules and regulations but I want to get the opinions of all yours about the impact on my I-485.. Work for a Consulting Company loacted in Virginia and never on bench for the last 6 years.. From 2005 to jan -2009-------- LCA -- VA location W2 -- VA State taxes --Filed and Paid for VA. Residential address -- Texas (in Tax returns, Driving licence etc..) There are no state taxes for Texas and no need file state tax returns.. From Feb 2009 to Present LCA --Texas and VA both.. W2 -- VA State taxes --Filed and Paid for VA. Residential address -- Texas (in Tax returns, Driving licence etc..) There are no state taxes for Texas and no need file state tax returns.. Can you please advise me based on the above conditions if I had any violations that could affect my I-485? In my G325A form, i am giving my Texas addresses as my last 5 years address as I want to be honest..I had couple of trips to India in between and my last re-entry to U.S is in April -2009..Can you plase advise me on my situation and what's the best way to handle it.. and I am sure that this will help lot of consultants like me... Thanks in advance.. Link to comment
Jignesh1972
That was past and everything is recorded you cannot change that so on a G325 you just put your residential address from texas do not worry about too much. In a consulting firm that happens a lot. Link to comment
veni001
W-2 address may not be a factor, but where did you work VA or TX? The question from USCIS could be if H1B LCA is for VA why did you reside in TX? Link to comment
Belle
Put your real address. If the USCIS has questions, talk to a lawyer. Technically, W2 is for taxes, not immgration. If you had an error in your W2, you can take it on with the IRS. Link to comment
