EAD part time and H1B full time

Hi,

 

I have filled for my GC through my husband and I just received my EAD that is valid till 06/2014. I am currently employed on H1B that is valid till 02/2016.

 

I was just wondering if I can use my EAD to work at a local art store part time (usually weekend), while I continue to work with my actual company on H1B full time.

 

Any help is appreciated.

Once you use EAD..your H1B ceases to exist.

You cannot use H1b and EAD at the same time. It has to be one of them.

Work on the basis of the EAD in both places. This way you get to retain the H1 time.
