truetexan Posted June 17, 2013 Report Posted June 17, 2013 So here is my situation: Currently working for Company-A. Already have my I-140 approved from Company-A. My 6 years for H1B is about to expire at the end of 09/13. Company-A has applied for extension since I have approved I-140. But, in order to play safe, Company-A is only extending the H1 for only “1 Year”. Keeping hopes on getting GC through Company-A is way too far away since you all know the situation of PD for India for EB2 & EB-3. Below are my questions/concerns for which I need suggestions: I have an offer from Company-B, they will transfer my H1 after the 7th year is approved through Company-A. Will the transfer for H1 only be valid for 1 year? Company-B said they need at least 6 months before filing for GC. Will I be taking a very risky step if Company-B will wait for 6 Months to start my GC? Option: Wait for getting GC through my spouse whose GC has started in EB1 category. Do you think this option is better than above mentioned taking into account that everything goes through smoothly on my spouse GC process? Thank you for taking time in reading my post and giving your valuable suggestions . ~Truetexan
