asterix.gaul Posted June 2, 2013 Report Posted June 2, 2013 Hi, I am in India and have got approved for H1-B (Comp A). Can I start searching for potential employers for transfer (Comp "any other")? There are several reasons that I want to do this. Thanks
wiweq Posted June 3, 2013 Report Posted June 3, 2013 => You have H1b means you have job and employer. Your H1b was approved for that employer/ project/ job.
pontevecchio Posted June 3, 2013 Report Posted June 3, 2013 Having been capped another employer can file a H1 petition for you and get it approved. I find it a bit odd. Did money change hands?
Balraj goud Posted June 4, 2013 Report Posted June 4, 2013 => You have H1b means you have job and employer. Your H1b was approved for that employer/ project/ job. Hi Wiweq, I'm in confusion to join my new employer or not- Here is my situation please answer and help me. Presently I'm with EMP1 and EMP2 has applied h1 transfer under premiem process and recived RFE for 1st time and they replyed for RFE later I have not recevied any updated but when I contacted to employer he said it is deny. and saiying it will be approved in 1 week. But I'm not ok with the employer. my joining is next week 14-june with employer b and he is asking me to join and saying nothing will happen bad. Please tell me what do I need to do. Still I'm working with employer A and I have a chance to extend till this month and even I can cancel my resignation. Please suggest.
wiweq Posted June 4, 2013 Report Posted June 4, 2013 Thumb rule for H1b holders: Don't join the new employer, unless H1b is completely approved.
