EAD with AP can stay outside US for > 6 months ?

Hi,

We just received valid EAD extension with AP for 2 years.

My wife has to go to India and stay there for atleast 7-8 months due to unavoidable circumstances. She has a valid EAD wth AP up until 2014.

Can she stay outside US for more than 6 months.

Can someone please help.

Yes, she may stay in India and come back before the expiry of the EAD/AP.
