goodluck
Hi, I worked with my company A for only 2 months when H1 transfer was in process and they started perm too. But due to some personal reasons I left company and joining my previous employer. I see CIA agreement of company as if I leave company within 1 year I have to reimburse all the immigration expenses which includes H1 transfer, perm and attorney charges. I don't know what to do? Today was my last day and I realised today that while joining I signed that agreement. I have heard it's not legal to ask for money from employee, is that true or I have to give $10000 to company A. Thanks for any help. Link to comment
pontevecchio
You need to run the contract by a Labor Lawyer in your state. Link to comment
JoeF
Some fees have to be paid by the employer, and the employer can not get reimbursed in any way or form for them. Check with an immigration lawyer, and an employment lawyer. Link to comment
