Meanwhile my wedding has also got finalized and I would be travelling to the US on dependent visa (H4) in August 2013. Is it possible to convert from H4 to H1 directly from within US? Thanks! pontevecchio Posted May 23, 2013 Report Share Posted May 23, 2013 It means the employer has to file another non cap H1 petition with COS from H4 to H1 and usually companies will not like spending twice. Talk to your H1 company. Link to comment
