simpleguy0405 Posted May 6, 2013 Report Posted May 6, 2013 Hi, My wife recently came back to US and at the POE, she was issued I-94 with no expiration mentioned on it. This has happened just before they moved to the new paperless I-94 system. Does anybody know how to get it corrected. She has a valid VISA (stamped) but we would like to get the I-94 amended just to avoid issues in future. Thanks for your help!
pontevecchio Posted May 7, 2013 Report Posted May 7, 2013 Give your Local CBP a call and be very precise and specific and deliberate in describing the problem and if they want you to then go to their Office and get it corrected.
tony.kemp60 Posted May 7, 2013 Report Posted May 7, 2013 You can also check & print the I94 at CBP website https://i94.cbp.dhs.gov/I94/request.html Since she travelled before paperless I94 it's always better to call local CBP and explain the situation.
simpleguy0405 Posted May 13, 2013 Author Report Posted May 13, 2013 Thanks for the information guys. I will try to contact CBP and let you know the outcome.
simpleguy0405 Posted June 18, 2013 Author Report Posted June 18, 2013 Just wanted to upade the info. I went to local CBP and got it corrected. It was a trivial procedure on their part. Thanks for all the information.
