I 94 Complications during travel and H1b extensions

I am planning to travel outside US on May 11th and Returning back on June 23rd.

My current H1B visa is getting expired on Oct 25th 2013 and I 94 valid till Nov 5th 2013. So I am applying for my H1B Extension on May 6th either in premium or normal process.

I would like to know, whether there will be any complication due to my I 94.

For Ex: If I apply my H1B in premium on May 7th within 15 business days, I will receive the approval. But when they send the copy of approval to homeland security my old I 94 will be cancelled right.

And another case, if I apply for my extension in normal process on May 7th. Then I might not receive approval till June 23rd. By that time I will back to US. So I will be issued new I 94 electronic.

Please let me know, whether I have to go for premium or normal process due to I 94 complications. Please give some idea about I 94 complication on this case.
