vivekthotla
Hello, I am currently a PhD student in Missouri. I came to the United States in Dec 2009, after 2 semesters I shifted to a PhD program. Since I received a 221G form, my visa was only valid till July 2012. I plan to go back to India in June 2013 to get my Visa renewed. My question is: Will it be problem with the 221 G form that I received the last time? (New I-20 shows completion of study in 2015, Also have full fee waiver and stipend now) I think I received the 221 G form last time because my dad works with the Department of Atomic Energy (DAE), but now he is retired. pontevecchio
When did you get the 221g form? If you are studying in an accredited college you should not expect any trouble. Keep your mentor/supervisor in the loop as also the DSO. Link to comment
