Just Transferred my H1B Visa and applying for GC by marrying a US citizen

Hello,

I currently transferred my H1B to an IT consulting company from a non-IT company (I'm a mechanical engineer), also in the meantime I will be getting engaged to get married to a US citizen. We will be getting engaged in May here in US and marry in November in India.

So my question is if I get court married in May after engagement here in US and start the GC application, will I still be able to travel to India in November for my marriage?

Most likely the AP document will be on hand by then if not the GC.

Sorry I take it back. WHat I meant was that despite having AP document what are the chances of them not letting me inside the cpuntry once I go back to India get married and come back?
