drpsujatha Posted April 19, 2013 Report Share Posted April 19, 2013 i have approved self petetion under EB-2 categeory. now i am in india. i have to submitt DS-230 to NVC for consular processing. presently i am a government employee in INDIA. can i disclose the information in DS-230 ? will they support government employees in giving green card? urgent assistance will be appreciated. Nobody cares who "supports" what and why - all that matters if there is a specific statute in the law that prohibits people like you from obtaining a green card. Is there one? Link to comment
a0756944 Posted June 11, 2013 Report Share Posted June 11, 2013 All Govt of India employees are eligible for white passport(which is different from regular citizen passport). Hence govt does not support the people to fly out with white passport unless it is a for govt purpose. Link to comment
