I-485 filed after I-140 approval. What gets checked?

I'm tagged as a dependent on my spouse's I-485 on EB1 category for extraordinary ability. The I-140 for my spouse (primary applicant) is already approved and I-485 is getting filed this week. What gets checked during the I-485 process? Are there additional documents related to eligibility (proof of publications or recommendation letters etc) needed at this stage, or is it just background check and finger printing?

Eligibility has already been accepted. The AOS should be automatic.
