Birth Certificate from Indian Embassy in Iran

Dear All,

Could you please help answer this:

My wife was born in Iran. Her parents were working for an American Telecom company in Iran at that time. Iran did not issue birth certificate at that time and they still do not issue. We only have birth certificate from Indian Embassy in Iran and a copy of the hospital record.

Please advice what to do ? if this is acceptable?

I would suspect that discussing the matter with the firm of Murthy may be a good idea so that they can guide you.
