Number of years left on H1

I have a question about the number of years I have remaining on H1. Here’s my situation:

H1 issued by Employer A – 10/01/2009 to 09/24/2012

With Employer A, pay stubs were only issued from Jan 2011 – March 2011 since I needed three pay stubs to transfer to Employer B.

H1 issued by Employer B – 06/01/2011 to 05/15/2014.

With Employer B, pay stubs have been issued since 06/01/2011 to current.

2 questions:

1) Does only the period when pay stubs are issued count towards the number of years on H1? In other words, does the period from 10/01/2009 to 12/31/2010 count towards my H1 years since pay roll was not run.

2) How many years do I have left on H1?

Oh boy. Why was "payroll not run"?

You need to get paid ALL THE TIME if you are in H1 status.

You are in a lot of trouble. You need to discuss your situation with a good immigration lawyer.

How many months have you been in the USA in ? H1 status? When did you first come here in H1 status?

All the time you spent in the US purportedly based on the H-1B approval are counted toward your 6 years in H-1B status.

OP, you should be concerned more about out-of-status days rather in-status days.
