L2 to H4 Transfer advice on travel outside country

Hi -

I'm on L1 and my wife on L2. We are planning to apply for tranfer to H1 and H4 this APRIL.

My wife is Planning to travel outside country in APRIL and she would be back MAY end.

Could you please help me with below queries ?

1. Is it fine to travel outside country in APRIL - MAY period or would they be any problem with the processing of change of status ?

2. Due to the travel I-94 would change, so do we need to update USCIS with the new I94 Details ?

3. Would there be any delay with the application processing due to the I-94 changes ?

4. Would you advice canceling this travel ?

Apply for her COS after she returns. Also consider the visa route.
