Minor typo mistake in DS 160

Hi,

There is a minor spelling mistake I made when I was filing my DS160. I misspelled my "Place Of Birth".There is just one extra letter I put. I have already taken the appointment.Whats the best way to correct this mistake.

1) should I go like this and inform the officer.

2) should I fill new DS 160 and take both the confirmations with out taking a new appointment.

3) should I fill new DS 160 and get a new appointment.

That should be fine. You can tell the visa officer that you checked it very late and were not able to make the change in time before they ask you.

No need to worry. You can happily go for Interview. Mine was DOB typo mistake. They do not care all of these.. Is this your mistake or Attorney's? If Attorney's please take a letter from them saying typo errors.

I dropped a mail to VFS asking them to correct it.I called them also but number on the site for vfs delhi is wrong.
