rajashekhar.desaraju
Hi I have my H-1B filed with a company ABC in year 2007.I have travelled to US then in October 2007 and went back to India in Feb 2008. Later I joined company XYZ and am currently working in US on L-1 through company XYZ since Feb 2011 . Now I want to switch my job and change my status to H-1B I would need help to find out .. Am I still 2007 cap counted or do I have to file a fresh H-1B in 2013 quota. If cap counted what is the duration of stay left out for me. Will the stay on L-1 is also counted against the 6 year limit of my 2007 cap limit . Please help .. Thank you. Link to comment
pontevecchio
You may be eligible to reclaim about 3.5 years in H1 status. Link to comment
rajashekhar.desaraju
Thank You. Understand now that I am Cap counted, but I am not sure if previous company revoked my H-1B since I moved out it long back. My question is: How does this effect to my Cap count, if my previous company revoked my H-1B. Will I have to file a H-1B in a fresh cap count. 2) Is there a way I can find out if my old H-1B was revoked or not. Please help..! Link to comment
