gungunme
Hi, I currently live in US and I have a "stamped h4 Visa" on my passport multiple entry, I plan to study and thus transfer my h4 to f1. I am aware that after I submit my I-539 it may take 2-3 months to get my changed status to F1, so here are my questions : 1. after I have submitted my I-539 can I travel international and return to US without stamping F1 during COS? 2. Also can I come back on my H4 stamped visa since my COS would still be pending ? On a different note... 3. Can one stamp F1 other than from country of origin? Thanks G Link to comment
pontevecchio
If you travel while the COS is pending the COS is automatically deemed denied. The chances of getting a F1 visa in a country other than your own become less. Link to comment
