Will H1B petition rejection affect L1A petition or stamping

Hi

I am currently spending my 1 year break in India after exhausting L1 in Sep 2012. I am planning to apply for H1B jobs this year so that by Oct 2013 I would have completed 1 year out of country. I have the following question:

Since I am applying before completion of 1 year outside country, there is chance that H1B may get rejected. In such case, will my L1 which is likely going to be applied in Oct 2013 be impacted because of my previous H1 petition rejection.

Start date of your H1b status should be after 1 year. You are free to apply anywhere any time.

You cannot have a sponsor apply for your H1 before September,2013 if you have finished 6 years already in H1 status. .
