H1b Valid for another 6 months, filing transfer from another employer

Hi All

I entered US 2 months back to work for my current employer (original patitioner). My H1B expires in sept 2013. I have a H1B transfer filed thru another employer. i am planning to join new employer only after H1b transfer is approved. My question is if my H1B transfer is denied, am i eligible to work for my current employer till Sept 2013?
