Apologize if it has already been discussed but I could not find it under Visa Stamp section. Question - I recently changed my job in US (from Company A to Company B) and I am planning for India trip in couple of months. I currently have Visa stamped till May 2014, however, the stamping was done last year when I was with company A. So, do I need to go for Visa stamping when I travel to India (since I have changed job)? Any help is appreciated.

abhishek278 Posted December 31, 2012 Report Posted December 31, 2012 Technically yes. If you change an employer, you have to get a new visa stamp. However, I also know of instances where some people got away with the old visa and the new 797 at re- entry.
