L1B 5 Years Completes in August , H1 B Applied . Work Status in August?

HI

I have been on L1 B Visa since last 4.4 years . My L1 Visa expires in Feb 2014.

Now I am filing for H1B 2013.

I have few questions :

1. Are number of Days on L1 counted according to dates in I94 ?

2. Will my vocation to India be counted in my 5 Year L1 Period ? (I was getting US Salary during the vocation)

Regardless of the vocations , I will complete 5 Years on L1 either in July or August 2013. But my L1 Visa expires in 2014. Also I am filing for H1B 2013.

3. What will be my work status in August 2013?

4. Can I stay here another 2 months till my H1 gets active in October ?

5. Or I would have to go back to India in August as I have completed 5 Years on L1
