dreamgc1728
Hello, My husband will be starting with his fellowship next July at a University hospital on a H1B visa. Can he apply for his GC while being a fellow? If yes, can he apply through EB2- NIW or simply EB2? Thanks! P.S: Fellowship is super-specialization in medicine after residency and typically lasts for 2-3 years, depending on the subject. Link to comment
pontevecchio
EB2-NIW implies no job offer necessary and he should discuss his credentials for such a filing with say the firm of Murthy or any of his choice. For EB2, he will need a job offer. On a side note do you really think any person who needs to be explained what a Fellowship in Medicine means will have any real clue as to an answer? Link to comment
t75
He needs to consult an immigration attorney specializing in these types of cases to develop a strategy. Your question and information is too general for a responsible reply. Link to comment
