Applying GC through my wife

I am working under H1B extension. My employer may apply for Green Card after 2 years. My wife has green card. Can I start the process through my wife, instead of waiting for two years?

What are the pros/cons with applying through my wife?

What are the criteria for applying through EB1? I have Master's degree and I am expecting promotion to Asst. Manager/Manager. Does the manager position expedite the GC Process?

Start the process based on her GC. In about 2 years it is likely you will get the GC this way. In the meantime you need to maintain your valid H1 status. As regards EB1 you should discuss your credentials with a Lawyer.

For the EB-1 multi-national executive / manager category, you must have been working for the multi-national company as an executive or manager outside the U.S. for at least 1 year before being transfered with that company to the U.S.
