H4 restamping

Hi,

I am in USA with H4 visa now and my current VISA is valid until Nov 2013.Last year my spouse's H1 petition got extended and that time my visa was not extened because mine was already valid till Nov 2013.After that

my spouse had changed his employer and his H1b transfer is done.I am planning to go to India now .

So I would like to know whether I should stamp my visa when I return to USA.

Please update me as soon as possible.

yes, you need new visa to enter usa

Again visa is a stamp. You mean you did not extend your H4 status when your spouse changed jobs. The H4 visa has no connection to any employer. You can come back before November,2013 with the current H4 visa as long as your spouse is in valid H1 status even if he has changed a dozen jobs by the time you come back.

raniuser, we are in a similar situation and debating whether spouse should get a new H4 or can enter on valid h4 stamp (with old employer) . please let us know how you entered US and any problems encountered.
