H1 Visa

Hello all,

I need some help with H4 visa.

I am getting married in a few days and i want to take my wife on H4 visa.

I have a valid h1b visa and i have all the documents with me.

iS there something that we need to file with the USCIS?

or do we have to just get the Payment Receipt and start booking for an appt?

please advice,

there are so many posts and i have got multiple answers for the same question,

thats the reason i decided to start a new one.

You just need your H1B visa documents for your spouse to go for H4 visa stamping.

There is nothing to file with USCIS for H4 visa newly married spouse.

Take your immigration file with you and you need to get the marriage certificate, Wedding invitation cards of both the families and some important pics of wedding.

There are so many websites that provide the information for the check list for the documents. If you have any additional questions let us know.

There is no H4 petition and hence no filing with USCIS involved. Follow the instructions in the web site. Receipt etc and appt. You can book now as long as she goes for the visa after Marriage.
