221(g) and applying for new H1B

Hello Friends,

Last week I attended visa interview and I got 221(g). Now I'm planning to move to prime vendor and do a new H1B and attend interview. Prime vendor is ready to do H1B. Can we apply a new H1B while the other is pending? Please let me know your suggestions on this. I'm doing this because there is no specific time frame for 221(g). I'm worried and my client needs me there asap. Please suggest..

Why do you need to apply for a new H1B . I guess just a H1B transfer will be ok ..By the way where did you attend your interview? India or canada.

I think it's better to withdraw the pending petition and apply for new H1.

A so called H1" transfer" is also a new H1 petition..non cap. A good idea by the OP.
