asmi516
I work on H1B visa. My current visa expires in January 2013 and I already have new visa extension (I-797) until Jan 2016. I went out of USA a few weeks back after I got my new visa extension. I surrendered all my I-94 forms at the airport, including the one which was valid until Jan 2016. When I returned to the US, the visa officer gave me new I-94, but since the visa in my passport was stamped only until Jan 2013, he gave me new I-94 valid only until Jan 2013.Thus currently I have new I-797 which is valid until Jan 2016, but I-94 is valid only until Jan 2013. Is that a problem? If yes, how can I get new I-94 valid until Jan 2016? Appreciate your help. Thanks. Link to comment

Sorry, absolutely not cause and effect. Go to the CBP Office and have it corrected. First make an appointment. They will correct it. Link to comment
