H4 after H1B stamping is done for same person

Hi

I've stamped H1B visa till Sep 2013. However I resigned my job and cannot travel on H1B anymore. Now since my spouse in US I'm planning to join him on H4 (which is yet to be processed)

If I go for H4 stamping now what will be my the status of my H1? Can I change status to H1 from H4 if I get valid job once I reach US?

Even I've B1/B2 visa as well. what will be the better option to enter US on H4 or B2 and then status to H1 after getting job there. Please advise.

No. But your H1 sponsor can file a H1 petition with COS if you find a H1 sponsor, assuming you have time left over within the total 6 year limit.
