Did any one receive emails from US Consulate Ottawa today( 5th Dec 2012) to appear in person on Thursday 2:00 PM to 2:15 PM?

Not yet. When did you have your interview? I had mine on November 29th and they mailed the client and responded back on the same day. Still waiting for the response.

26 Nov--> client replied email to standard set of questions

No didn't ask me for more documents. And not sure what questions they have mailed my client but heard it's a positive response from the manager. Any updates for anyone?

Hi guys,

Don't woory.you will get ur visa's . I Come across this situation . if everything is good then u will get ur Visa for sure but Time Difference.Some will get quickly and bit late for some.

I attended on Nov-6.got 221G and got mail from consulate on Nov-28 and got Visa.

I hope you all you guys will get visa Soon.

Standard questions for client verification shall be

1.) Did you write and sign a letter addressed to the US Consulate General Ottawa on date xx xxx that confirmed xxxx employs the services of yyyy…?

2.) If the supervision is off-site and performed by the petitioner, how does the petitioner maintain such supervision i.e. weekly calls, reporting to the main office routinely, or site visits by the petitioner? Please provide an example.

3.) What is your position in the organization? Are you a full-time employee?

4.) Who has the right to control the work of the applicant on a day-to-day basis if such control is required? Please provide an example.

5.) Who determines the direction of the project?

6.) Who determines the applicant’s daily activities? Please provide an example.

7.) Who provides the tools or instrumentality for the applicant to perform the duties of employment?

8.) Who hires, pays, and has the ability to fire the applicant?

9.) Who claims the beneficiary for tax purposes?

10.) Who provides the beneficiary with employee benefits?

and looks like no emails came out this week for passport submissions let hope emails come out soon or the next

Also what does Admin processing mean??

I did not get any email until Friday Morning 9 AM. DO they email on other days then Wednesday too?

Normally mails are sent out on Wednesdays / Thursdays to appear in person on Tuesdays /Thursdays.

But due to Offs/ Vacations it looks like there are little changes.

I heard from past 2 days Ottawa Consulate is operating with 1 VO that explains why no mails this week

I just got an email from the consulate asking to submit the paystubs from July. I have sent the attachments via email.

That's it. No other updates.

I and couple of my friends got email on Thursday morning (8:10 AM) to visit the consulate on Friday or Tuesday/Thursday.

I just got an email from OFPU(Ottawa Fraud prevention Unit) to attend the consulate. I will update this thread once i attend the consulate.

Went to consulate on Friday(12/14) and gave my passport. They gave all documents back to me and also the tracking sheet. waiting for the loomis email so that i can pick up the passport and go back to US. Cannot wait any longer.

Any one from Nov 12 - Nov 24 , are still waiting for updates from Consulate. (not the one's who dropped their passports). Mine is Nov 19 , And still waiting to hear from embassy.
