EB3 or Find a new employer

Hi Folks,

Looks like GC effect has spilled over me like never before. Finished Masters in 2008 and got a full time position same year . Working on for same employer since then. Started GC process this Jan .Employer was willing to do in EB3 only though i had masters degree citing position doesnot doesnot come under EB2 . Since then started looking for full time jobs which fall under EB2. Rejected a job opportunity with a state government underatking NPO who promised to do GC under EB2 because of unpromising career path. Tried again last week with current employer if they can put put me in EB2 but got a same response.

Any suggestions on whether starting EB3 process with current employer or continue search for fulltime oppotunities which fall under EB2 ?. I just finished first 3 years of H1B and still have 3 more years ahead ?.

No regrets on past decisions but looking forward to take right steps hopefully.
