H4 - H1b

Hi,

I am in the US on H4 visa and have found a company willing to sponsor my H1b this month (nov 2012). I am a digital media professional with 6 years of experience. As far as I know even if I apply for H1b and get approved, I can start working only in October 2013. I want to know if there are any alternative options to start working for the company?

I guess there are no alternatives since you are on H4. You could look for volunteer opportunities at non-profits, or even at the chamber of commerce or at the city hall. This would give good experience and also create new connections for your future job.
