H4 Question

Hi,

Currentnly my daughter's status change (to H4 from L2) is in progress. At this moment can I transfer my H1 B visa to other employer? If yes, then do I need to apply for my daughter's H4 again?

I changed my status from L1 to H1 and my wife status changed from L2 to H1, now I have applied to change of status for my daughter to H4 on bases of my H1.

At this point I am planning to transfer my H1 to other employer. If I do this, then do I need to apply for my daughters H4 again? or do I need to wait until her H4 get approved?

When does the H4 I94 expire?

@pontevecchio -Mine and my wife's I94 expire in 2015 and my daughter's current I94 expire in 2014 (based on L2).

@ pontevecchio -My daughter's status change to H4 is still in approval phase (still with USCIS). Still I did not recive her I94 on H4.

My daughter's H4 approval is still in progress. We appled for status change in Sept 2012 from L2 to H4.

You should apply for her H4 extension along with your new H1 petition. If you are having the H1 petition filed with PP then include the H4 matter too. Have a lawyer do it otherwise.
