h1bCOSQuestion Posted November 23, 2012 Report Posted November 23, 2012 I am working in US through company A with L1B visa (expiry date 01/13 I-94 valid till 01/14). Company B did my H1 which is effective from 01/13 with COS. Now company A wants to transfer the H1, But only document I have is I 797 C (with no I-94 ) attached to it. Can the H1 transfer may happen on basis of I 797 C?
