Client wants to process the GC while my GC is already under process for the same position by my employer

Hi All,

I have a qn regarding my GC. I am with a company E who holds my H1 and I work at a Client place C. My employer E has filed my GC and it is under process. Perm is complete and I-140 is under process. Now Client C is fine to file my GC for the same position.

1. Should the client C have to transfer my H1 for filing my GC? or Can client file my GC while some other company holds my H1?

2. If Client C has to file my GC should the process be restarted? ( i.e filing my Perm and applying for 140 etc).

3. As this is for the same position can the Client transfer the process from my employer?
