Currently on H-4 expired, applied for H-4 extention, got H-1 approval

Hi!

I travelled to US on H-4 with my husband last year.

We applied for my H-1 in April and we got it approved.

My husband's H-1 and hence me and my kid's H-4 expired in the month of August.Our H-4 extension is applied. Now I want to know if I have to cancel my H-4 extension application to keep my H-1? If I cancel my application, my kids extension application will also be cancelled. Please let me know a way out of this.

Has your H1 approval come with the I94? Have a lawyer fix your issue. Your child can be in H4 status based on your spouses H1 in any case.
