eager77 Posted November 8, 2012 Report Posted November 8, 2012 Hi All, I may have to appear to the court for my son's leave from school. I am planning to go India and for that I applied for planned unexcused leave for 17 days for my son. As per teacher, I may have to attend the court as per New Jersey rule and may be fined few dollars for the same. My worry is whether this will affect my GC process at any stage? Please post your suggestion if anybody have similar experience. Thanks.
pontevecchio Posted November 9, 2012 Report Posted November 9, 2012 You have to do your research or talk to a Lawyer about the so called rule. How in hades will it affect your GC? Ask the teacher to send you the link or actual rule.
eager77 Posted November 9, 2012 Author Report Posted November 9, 2012 Thanks for the reply. pontevecchio, The rule is there for all NJ schools. I confirmed with teacher and other parents who have faced the similar situation. I also know that its not a big issue for GC, but still want to be sure becase many times for very minor matter we need to face lot of issue in future. Thanks.
