H1 B Extension and H1 B Transfer

Dear Experts,

Currently, I am working for Company A. My Petition is due for Extension by 2013. This is NOT the extension at the end of 6 years. When transferring my H1 B to this company they had it for an year and it expires by 2013. They will be filing premium processing .

In the interim, I am anticipating a good offer from Company B .

Question: 1. Can one do Extension and Transfer at the same time.

2. If answer to above cannot be at same time , what should be time interval between the two.
