Name on Passport after marriage

is it better to change the name on passport (as per marriage certificate) after marriage?

i wan to apply re-issue of passport for my wife.

It is your choice, the sooner you get things in line the better, if the name is legally changed then it is best to get it updated in the passport.

So that in future you would have less complications.

As of now, only marriage certificate and child birth certificate has the name with latest surname remaining all documents has name with old surname.

i think, its better to not to update the existing name on passport, what do you think?

Again her choice, but ask this question to yourself, if something is eventually going to be in a certain state in the future, why not get it done right away and be saved from the resulting confusion/hassel due to it in the future if postponed.
