hashbike
Hi , I had a h1 visa stamped on a petition which expired in Sept 2010. I never travelled on that visa. Subsequently, I got a B1 visa which I travelled on and during stamping my h1 was marked 'cancelled without prejudice' Now I intend to interview for a different firm which is not the original firm that sponsored my h1. What would be the fastest way of going about getting a visa for the same ? Is it possible to travel on the original petition ? Link to comment
pontevecchio
The new firm would need to file and get a H1 petition approved and then you would need a new H1 visa. If you try to use the old approval for a new visa they may a. Laugh you out of there if in a good mood b. Blacklist you. If the priginal employer wants to file again he can do so. Link to comment
